Instructional Videos: Research Bytes

Research Bytes are short videos that teach specific research skills.  They are intended to be used by:

  • Students: Watch these videos to help you develop your research skills.
  • Mentors: Utilize these videos to give students a primer or refresher in basic research skills, saving your time for the information and skills that are specific to your discipline.
  • Instructors: Ask students to watch these videos prior to coming to class so you can use class time to give them hands-on practice.  You could also link to these videos from your course Blackboard site as a refresher for research skills they should have learned in prior coursework.
